Last Sunday (01-15-12), we ran in the 2012 Aramco Houston Half Marathon. Liz finished in 2:16:36 (new half marathon PR!) and Steve finished in 2:29:29.

Earlier today we ran the 2011 Jingle Bell Run (5 miles). Liz finished in 49:11 and Steve finished in 49:29.
2011 TXU Energy Turkey Trot
Yesterday we ran in the TXU Energy Turkey Trot 10K. Liz finished in 59:25 (new 10K PR, new 5K PR for the second 5K — 29:13) and Steve finished in 1:01:33 (new 10K PR).

Bearkat Bash 2011
We ran in the 2011 Bearkat Bash 5K on Saturday. Liz finished in 30:49 and Steve finished in 28:11 (new 5K PR!).
We run, not because we think it is doing us good, but because we enjoy it and cannot help ourselves…The more restricted our society and work become, the more necessary it will be to find some outlet for this craving for freedom. No one can say, ‘You must not run faster than this, or jump higher than that.’ The human spirit is indomitable.

2011 Aramco Houston Half Marathon
We ran in the 2011 Aramco Houston Half Marathon this morning. Liz finished in 2:17:30 (new PR!) and Steve finished in 2:26:17.

Las Vegas Half Marathon Results
We ran in the 2010 Rock ‘n’ Roll Las Vegas Half Marathon last Sunday (12/5). Liz finished in 2:19:39 and Steve finished in 2:35:43. We followed the race with a nice mini-vacation in Las Vegas.
2010 TXU Energy Turkey Trot
We ran in the 18th Annual TXU Energy Turkey Trot this morning. Liz finished the 10k in 1:02:19 and Steve finished the 10k in 1:03:18.

We ran in the 2010 Bearkat Bash 5K this morning. Liz finished in 30:00 and Steve finished in 30:58.
